I was overjoyed with excitement when I got the opportunity to travel to the Caribbean and spend some time touring Sandals Emerald Bay Resort. The resort itself is tucked away in Great Exuma, Bahamas and its a 10-12 minutes drive from George Town Airport to the resort.
When I arrived at the airport, I had to go through customs, which of course is never a fun time, but I super excited to be there!! The wait to get through customs was about .30 minutes so it wasn’t that bad. Once we were through customs, we were transported via busses to take us to the resort.

I finally arrived at Sandals Emerald Bay, and oh my…what can I say. I was greeted with a warm island welcome from the staff at the resort! I experienced VIP arrival and a culinary experience worth bragging about! A local band was playing reggae music and a buffet of food was waiting.

The resort its self is a couples only resort with every amenities included. This resort has 245 oceanview and oceanfront villas and its secluded and nestled enough where you can sit and relax and not hear a thing. I felt like I was the only one there, it’s quiet, quaint and beautiful at the same time!!

Red Lane Spa
One of my favorite places at a resort is the spa. At Sandals Emerald Bay it’s all about pampering at the Red Lane Spa. Its a tropical oasis where you truly feel rejuvenated in all sense of the word. I had an opportunity to also tour this luxurious spa and I wanted to stay there forever….
